Devon’s Question of the Day: how do you fix the sads when you’ve got them for no reason?

Sadie: Those kind of ‘sads’ are the worst sometimes…with other ‘sads’, at least you know WHY you’re sad, and you could use that to help fix the problem.

But there are things that can help…talking/texting with someone who will listen, watching your favorite movie, finding some of your old, favorite cartoons online, coloring, blowing bubbles inside(!), making cupcakes and mixing up all sorts of different flavors and different colored icing, building a blanket fort just for you (and your stuffies!), going on a midnight adventure…

…or sometimes, all you need is a good, safe cry to get all the icky feelings out. Not everytime, no…especially if you know that deep down, crying would only make it worse. BUT, there are times when it can be extremely satisfying and cleansing.
