Can we talk for a moment about how those two years away from John changed Sherlock. And don’t tell me it didn’t. Sherlock has evolved in his love of John, making it more noticeable to others and you’d have to be blind if you didn’t see it. What we knew of Sherlock in season 1 & 2…

MO:  and from Johns POV we can see how hard he struggled to move on, and JUST when he managed Sherlock, re-enters.   Not to mention that he picked someone (unbeknownst to him) that was just like Sherlock.
