Sadie: Writing lines is a good go-to of mine (other than spanking). Also, have them write each letter of the word in a different color to keep them focused (rainbow order works, but if you want to make up your own pattern, like ‘All vowels must be in purple’, etc, then that works too!).
They could be sitting on a pan of dried rice while working, as well. 😏
@sadieandmo SADIE!! NOOOOOO!! Do not give tips on writing lines! Plz, the only way to get thru it is to mindlessly write one word and go down the line each time until you’re done. Your methods are diabolical 😫😫😫
Sadie: So I guess I shouldn’t mention that if I make you write in rainbow order, you have to keep going in that order?
If the first letter of the sentence is written in red, and the very last letter of the sentence is written in green, then guess what? The very first letter of the next line had better be blue, mister. None of this ‘writing the first letter in red all the way down’ mess.
