Prompt, please? After Sherlock gets back after Reichenbach, John is still a tad bit upset so they’re not on stable enough terms for it, so Sherlock goes to his brother and Greg all battered and broken and meeker than ever. And Greg wants to simultaneously cry and scream because Sherlock is just So Sad and so Scared and flinches away from them even though he never had before. So they help him and hold him close and hope they never go through it again?

Oh, anon…this is a good prompt, I mean really and truly a good prompt–but, uh, Embie ( @squeakpigsrevenge )and I have both written something that is pretty much exactly that plot. 😛

It’s a little more recent than Reichenbach, though–in fact, it takes place right after certain, eh, events that took place in The Lying Detective.
