Rules: Post the last sentence you wrote and tag as many people as there are words.
This sentence is from an upcoming chapter of my Sherlock Jane Austen fusion, Not Entirely Clueless:
Now, as the boot was, in fact, already perfectly laced, and as Sherlock’s fiddling with it had been aimed solely at discouraging Mr. Wilkes’ attentions without appearing to be rude, he found himself at a bit of a loss.
As you can see, although I wrote this particular sentence myself, I’ve adopted Jane’s verbosity, so I’ll have to tag 39 people!
This is from Emancipation, from which I am taking my Union mandated 5 minute break right now. I’ll have to use the last-but-one sentence as there are spoilers in the last one and I’d hate to do that to anyone who’s waiting for it!
I just had to wait until I had a chance to write something not work related, otherwise I’d be giving you a ‘fascinating’ line about updates in admissions policies.
From that one set of notes I’ve been painfully wrestling a story from.
Known for being as cold hearted in his mannerisms as he was in his buisness dealings, Mycroft Holmes had earned himself the title “Ice Man”; a name he seemed to wear with as much pride as his three piece suits.
Thank you, darling, for tagging me. @littlebeekeeper I’ve been writing a lot of things, most of them are unfinished and seem like they won’t ever be finished. My last line, however, is this.
Sometimes, in the dreams I do not have, the fall lasts forever, a barrage of color and sound as I slowly plummet towards the ground.
Someone’s been denying their nightmares, to say the least. And wow, I’m a bit wordier than I thought. 24 words. 24 people. Let’s go! I’m sorry for taging everyone.
