- Count down
- Threaten punishment if they don’t start behaving! This is their warning!
- The ‘Daddy/Mommy’ glare (it’s scawwy!)
- Light slap on the wrist (or butt!) to get their attention
- Whisper, don’t yell! Whispering is actually more effective, because it doesn’t make your Little fearful, it makes them attentive and grabs their attention
- If you threaten punishment and they keep acting up – ALWAYS REMEMBER TO FOLLOW THROUGH, or else they won’t respect you as much; this is because you look like you aren’t serious! They won’t respond well to empty threats – so be sure to follow through!
- All else fails – spankings!
- Remember aftercare!
- Early bedtimes also can be a time for your Little to understand their behavior was not appropriate; nobody likes to go to bed early 😦 It gives them time to lay in bed and think about what they did, since they probably won’t be too sleepy!
@pelgrimofmyownfate no early bedtimes though :c
